On the way to Broken Hill from Mildura, we stopped off to see the Junction of the Murray and Darling rivers at Wentworth.
We chose St. Pats Racecourse Campground on the outskirts of Broken Hill as we camp unpowered as much as possible. So far, so good as our solar panels are having no trouble keeping the batteries charged.
Check out the Sulphide St. Railway Historical Museum, a fantastic museum to keep you occupied for quite a while.
Off to Silverton to check out the sites. The Mad Max Museum is a must, but the Silverton Gaol Museum is better. We didn’t stop at the local pub and now regret the fact that we missed one of the towns historical icons.
