Campbell Town

Monday night shift was over, into bed at 5.30am, up around 10.30am and on the road by midday. Six nights away, heading for Dunalley, but we are planning to spend the first two nights at Campbell Town. A historic little town on the Midland Hwy which breaks up the drive to Dunalley.

There are 2 free camps in Campbell Town. We stayed in the larger of the two and the more popular which is situated behind the historic red bridge. There is plenty of space and all but flat and is perfectly situated as a stopover which ever direction you are travelling.

There is plenty of historic buildings to check out around town and it is mostly all flat walking.
