The van has been given the once over, greased, brakes have been adjusted, the tow hitch has been fitted, the extra stone protection is ready to go. The diesel heater has been checked and has been given a good run. We don’t want this to fail on the way up through inland NSW. I have given the whole exterior a polish and a coat of wax. The ute has been cleaned and washed and the exterior has been given a coat of wax. Every thing shines like a new pin, at least until the first shower of rain.
The ute had its 70 000km service and “touch wood” it should be right until we get home in the middle of August
The house sitter is ready to go and hopefully a trip to the weighbridge will be on the cards early next week if I get organised.
I have three night shifts to go and then two months off work. Marvellous.
