Driving Through Sydney to Goulburn

We left Morisset hoping to be through Sydney before lunch. I had set the GPS to Berrima, just off the Hume Highway, but forgot to switch on the “Use Toll Roads” option, but I had nothing to worry about. I just followed all the road signs to Canberra around Pennant Hills Rd. The traffic was just nice, it was busy, but I just stuck in the middle lane of three lanes all the way around to the M4 Motorway Toll Road and just followed it onto the Hume Highway. All I have to do is go online and pay the toll.

Berrima is a little town 70km from Goulburn but it was not an ideal campsite so we pressed on and checked into a caravan park on the outskirts of Goulburn. Driving through Sydney was good but I am pleased it is over.

A trip into the city for a little shopping to top up the supplies shows that Goulburn is a historic town and if we had a bit more time would warrant a better look about.

There is many great facades on buildings everywhere, some are in need of a bit of tender loving care.
