We left the Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping Ground around 9.00am, we only had a short drive of 41km to the Eumundi Market, hoping to beat the traffic, didn’t happen. They wouldn’t let us park in the car park, where we were going to stay the night, even though there was still heaps of room. We then had to find somewhere else to park until after the market, not easy. We only had to walk 2km back to the market.
Lots of stalls to keep Dianne happy, however I still spent more than her. There is certainly plenty to see and do. A great way to fill in the day and stock up on Christmas and birthday presents.
We finally made our way into the camping area by 2.30pm. There was still lots of cars scattered throughout the camping area. Three or four caravans were even waiting to leave from the previous night, although I would imagine that they had spent the day at the market.
A fabulous spot to spend a night or two for only $12.oo or $17.00 per night with the CMCA discount. A new toilet block with 2 showers for the paiying campers. The showers have a keypad lock to stop those who come in late and don’t pay.
