We finally arrived in Canberra after nearly running out of diesel after the GPS took us to a Service Station that hadn’t been in business for years.
We stayed a couple of nights at the Canberra Showgrounds, quite a nice spot and reasonably close to most things. We had one hell of a frost one morning and they say Tassie is cold. I have never seen a frost ever like that in Penguin Tasmania.

Australian War Museum
We had to visit the war museum while we were in Canberra, what an awesome place. It stirs up all sorts of emotions.The lighting, the sounds, help bring it to life. Do yourself a favour, go and have a look, jump on a guided tour as the guides really know their stuff.
